Our Pilates mat workouts incorporates the classic pilates sequence, which is an exceptionally good workout that will provide the foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits, not to mention, of course, that Pilates mat work is the ultimate in core workouts. Neutral spine, a properly engaged core, c-curve, shoulder and pelvic stability, spinal articulation, full breathing, working with oppositional energy — all are key to Pilates mat work.

The goal of a mat Pilates class is to strengthen the body’s “powerhouse,” a Pilates term that refers to your abdominals, lower back muscles, pelvic floor, hips and glutes. Through a series of floor exercises using resistance bands, magic circle, foam roller, big / small ball, weights etc, - the workout will help build, sculpt and tone these muscles. Pilates can aid in flexibility and improve posture, as stretching your body is a vital part of class.
Mat Pilates is an effective, precise set of exercises. It’s accessible to everyone at any level of fitness and provides countless benefits.

You are welcome to get a group of friends / colleagues together and we can arrange a mat class for your group at a convenient time that suits you (minimum 3 - maximum 5 participants). Great idea for team building!
